Every care line on this page is the manufacturer’s own, printed next to the product it came with. We have not written a general wash guide, because a general wash guide would be wrong about most of this catalogue.

Where these instructions come from

They are the same words on the product page, read out of the same listing — not a second version maintained by hand that could drift from it. 62 of the 63 products on sale state how to look after them, and 62 state what they are made of; both are below, side by side, so you can see why a bat and a hoodie get different answers.

What we have not done is test them. Nobody at Adrenaline has washed these garments forty times to find out whether the print survives it. If a care line here turns out to be wrong, that is the manufacturer’s claim failing, and it is covered the same way any other fault is — see warranty.

What the instructions agree on

These four lines are counted from the entries below rather than written above them — the figures are how many of the 63 listings say each thing, so the summary cannot quietly stop matching the products. Where a product’s own entry differs, the entry is what counts.

• Cold, or by hand. 33 listings say machine wash and 10 say hand wash; 33 name cold water and not one asks for warm or hot. The hand-wash ones mostly do not state a temperature, so cold is the safe reading rather than a rule they printed.
• Bleach: no, or non-chlorine only. 30 say do not bleach outright and 10 — the printed apparel — allow non-chlorine bleach as needed. Nothing here permits household chlorine bleach.
• Air dry, or tumble low. Heat is what kills elastane and lifts a print, and 21 listings also rule out dry cleaning.
• The iron is where they split. 17 say low heat only; 13 say do not iron at all, several of them specifically not over a printed or reflective panel. This is the one instruction worth reading per product rather than generalising.

The equipment, recovery kit and bags are the other half of the shop and almost none of it goes in a machine: 19 listings say wipe it, let it dry fully, store it dry.
